  2. As always, a superb weapon. You will get tons of inquiries for the plans. You continue to amaze. But, NO cats? Where are the kittens?

  3. Yes please, release the plans.

  4. Have you considered a pistol grip on the slide, to give your front hand a more secure grip, in a spot where the band won't hit it?

  5. definitely the best slingshot crossbow so far, handheld of course!

  6. This weapon is so cool! The issue with breaking bands is solved, I presume?

  7. Polishing took care of the band eating issue.

This is the first prototype, will enhance this some more before I will consider a tutorial.

But I am pretty happy with this one already... very promising.

    1. This is Phenominal I am Assuming that the Stiff Cocking action is also because it is not yet Pollished - I DOES Look like a Lot of Fun ! - Looks Like it is gravity fed as you tilt it slightly up to allow the shot to drop onto the barrol cavity - The thing I am still haveing a problem wraping my head around is the Triggar mechanism and the automatic Band Stop when you cock it - I serriously LOVE this ! Your Craftmanship is STELLAR ! - Very Professional ! ♥

  8. I post it on YT but in case you miss, Jörg, wax the sliding surfaces by dragging candle on them, you will be amazed how it improves. Note that wax repells paints you apply later.

  9. very nice. does it only shoot 20mm balls or can it handle larger/smaller rounds? also if you don't mind my asking, what is the velocity of the projectiles?

  22. Hello, I just found out about theslightshotchannel.

The joy you take in doing this makes me smile. I plan on using some of your videos in conjunction with some of my own planned materials in my physics classroom.

I look forward to your newer videos!

Joerg, do you plan to make a version

    Cheers

  28. this is definitely my favourite because ever since i saw elastic band flinging repeater rifles/pistols that work on a wheel mechanism, i always pictured a crossbow bolt firing repeater something like that wheel mechanism on a speargun and this reminds me of that old idea.

i wonder if this could be made into a shorter stub nose pump shotgun that could fire a number of buckshot/birdshot at once like some slingshot hunters do from a slingshot? pump and repeat, that would be really kickass. would likely need some kind of shells like a super hollow plastic sabot that would peel away in flight.

  29. Neat design--I imagine that a paintball shooting version would be possible.

  34. Hi Jörg, nice to meet you! I'm from Brasil and I'm surprised with your work. I'm going to make a slingshot like this to me, but to me it's better to use glass balls 12 or 13 mm. What do you think about it?

  35. Hi
I would love a copy of the plan to build the pump action slingshot.

    Brilliant design, love it

  36. I too would like to build a copy of this slingshot. I will use it for fun as well as removing vermin from my little farm. After watching your video on marbles as killer ammo I am thinking of making one in a size that could use them. I was thinking of casting and shooting lead balls too. I like your work and appreciate the good attitude in the videos, makes me feel like I can do it too. Thanks, rj
