A veritable slingshot party!

I drove down 170 miles to meet the guys that want to help me with my summer project (car size slingshot cannon). The site is just perfect, and the guys are great.

We had a party later on, with lots of shooting. We destroyed TVs, a computer monitor, phones, even a ghetto blaster!

The video shows a few scenes from the event, and also contains the info for the next drawing.

Watch it on youtube

You can win a "Panther" or a "Cougar"!

Don't miss the free manual for the Panther, it is available on google docs and contains a lot of very useful information for other slingshot types too - even a tutorial how to make your own flatbands.

Download the pdf from google docs

  2. That party sounds like a lot of fun.

Would love to be able to destroy what ever I can get my hands on with a nice variety of weapons ;).

Looking forward to that big, what I would call a, 'Slingshot Ballista'.

    Good luck and have fun.

  4. I noticed one of your friends had a slingshot with a very short stabilizer that sort of wrapped over the back of the thumb. Did I see correctly, and how would this be made?

  15. Hey Jörg,

How would you build this cannon in mediaval times? What could have been instead of the modern elastic bands?

    Thanks,

  16. That was hilarious! It looked like a fun place to be, shooting TVs and stuff. I am totally stoked to see this slingshot cannon. Who knows, maybe it will even be powerful enough to enter a Pumpkin Chunkin' contest! That would be awesome if you were able to enter.

  21. I really think you need to visit the US and design a slingshot for the annual punkin chunkin competition in Bridgeville Delaware. How far do you think you can shoot a 8 pound pumpkin?

  30. Woow! A Destruction party with a crazy slingshot lover german guy... that was surely AWSOME! I'm planning some impact explosive that would add a lot of fun on that. If I'm succesful on a not too dangerous formula I'll put some videos on youtube.

    Greetings from Brazil.
