The vampire stake is just about the deadliest "slingshot" projectile I ever made. When fired from my 7 ft. crossbow, it is plain lethal.
But it had two drawbacks.
First, the "hooks" were made from plywood and broke off when they hit something, like the edge of the catch box or so.
Second, the wooden tip went blunt quickly.
So I replaced the wooden hooks with solid 6mm aluminum, and also I drilled the tip out and glued in four inches of 8mm threaded rod, sharpened the tip to a needle point.
Will shoot at things tomorrow!
Oh my gosh! That is crazy! It is scary just to look at it. I am curious at how far you can shoot it. That is a deadly work of art.
ReplyDeleteOh, da bin ich doch mal auf die Ergebnisse von morgen gespannt :)
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP!!
ReplyDeleteForget human zombies, your now ready for when the disease spreads to animals, and you get in front of an elephant!
I like the different homemade moddels u do n i also like how u put a lot of details in ur videos ... If there was a zombie apocalyps ill will come to u
ReplyDeletecant wait for the next video
ReplyDeleteI have never forgotten the title of a speech from long ago although the substance was dull and dreary. It was, "The Future belongs to the Efficient'. Sharper point, more penetration. Cool! But does it make for a 'deader vampire'? :) I'm looking forward to tomorrow's video. I'm ALWAYS entertained by your inventiveness and your work. All the best!
ReplyDeletePS: The tip looks like a uber pencil tip! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that looks dangerous!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what sort of damage you do with that. :)
Marvellous thing. I waiting for the shoot :D
ReplyDeleteCool with that thing you can take out 2 zombies in 1 shot. Doing the zombie shift when i write this, looking forward at the video.
ReplyDeleteAll the best. :)

ReplyDeleteIt would be interesting to see that against something really thick.
ReplyDeletethats what im talking about.. amazing.. cant wait for the video.
ReplyDeleteI happened upon your videos on YouTube, and I'm inexplicably grateful that I did. You're responsible for my new addiction. Thanks.:)
ReplyDeleteall the best, friend
A wooden cruise-missile ;-)
ReplyDeletenice modification.
ReplyDeleteWow! It looks like you can go hunting with this now! Great & scary improvments you've made. Love to add something like this to my "permitive weapons" collection I'm building.
ReplyDeleteHot Damn! Now that looks out and out lethal. I can't wait to see some destruction vids lol. On a slightly political note this is one of the reasons I think weapons ban law are ridiculous. A person with some free time and a little know how can make any manner of lethal devices. Hell, last night at work I figured out to make a sling by knotting together 2 bandanas. I was able to throw a rock twice as far and at least 3 times as fast as normal. Slingshots that I have made can put a .50 cal musketball down-range over 150mph. The problem lies in educating the people, not restricting them. Oops, got political my bad, what are you going to do about launching that wicked piece of art?
ReplyDeleteZombies and Vampires behave yourself your archnemesis is coming.
ReplyDeleteI love your channel. All these slingshots :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best from The Netherlands.
Nice and very efective way to kill vampires :)
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! o.o nice thing man, very nice xD
ReplyDeleteThat must be the most killable band-weapon ever made!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're dangerous!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're creativity and outrageous creations are very entertaining and I really enjoy watching each new invention. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteLethal! Sweet!
ReplyDeletehi from france
ReplyDeleteVery nice vids, I follow you on youtube and it's always a good moment, Thanks for all your creativity ;)
very effective at close range but whats the max distance it will shoot accurately
ReplyDeleteWooow very impressive
ReplyDeletethe pencil of death!
ReplyDeleteErsetz den Kern durch einen Silberstab und das Ding ist gegen Vampire UND Werwölfe gut! ;)
ReplyDeleteReplace the rod by one made of silver and it's leather to vampires AND werewolfs! ;)
Now, build about 20 of them and you will be ready for war. :D
ReplyDeleteThis might be one of the coolest slingshot projectiles you have made. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered how deep the oak has to go into a vampire in order to achieve a kill. Or does is have to penetrate the heart? I even have a college degree in folklore and mythology, I should know these things. No matter the answer, I am guessing that this projectile will do the trick.
ReplyDeleteI love the new design! it would work great against all those vampires teenagers love these days!
ReplyDeletethe vampire stake is so crazy!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I love the idea that such primitive weapons can be so lethal. Your craftsmanship is also out of this world. I'm impressed! BTW...I saw this report on the Blaze.
ReplyDeleteNext you will have to inlay the shaft of the stake with silver wire so it will be effective on werewolves too.
ReplyDeleteOuch, my undead vampire heart already hurts. Don't want to meet the true death in form of a slingshot whirling vampire killing 'Puempel Assassin'. Better hide in my coffin. ;-P
ReplyDeleteAddition: To be a real vampire and werewolf slayer the pointed tip should me made of silver. Try it out!!!
