Yellow :) I see a pro whisker biscuit . I laugh out loud when saw in your old YT film your rest made out of toilet brushes :) Even my Wife said it’s very ingenious and gave me a bottle brush to play with ;) Came your really nice. Looks like medieval style Batman's toy :) Cheers Rafal
@Bram: The bow has 60 lbs max draw (it is adjustable), and a 75% let off (the nut only has to hold 15 lbs). The crossbows you can buy online are much shorter (= the draw length is much shorter) and will need a way higher draw to achieve the same arrow speed (308 fps IBO speed at 29" draw).
Great work once again, I've been following your builds since you posted the Gatling slingshot on spudfiles, and I always wonder, what will he think of next!
Looks incredible. An interesting history note would have to be the fact that during the middle ages the crossbow not the gun was the main reason why Knights wore progressively heavy armor.
It looks cool to me. Its a master piece when you make it :) I am sure that it works nice too

ReplyDeleteHow long did it take you to do that?
ReplyDeleteNow you need to add your bargain scope to it. It will improve the accuracy on this already accurate weapon.

ReplyDeleteThis is just AWESOME!I wish I had thought to do this with my old bow instead of selling it...

Nice project. Have you made a "stonebow"--sort of a slingshot powered by crossbow?
